Join the Children’s Museum of Acadiana, in partnership with the Association of Children’s Museums and Nickelodeon, for Our World: Worldwide Day of Play on September 30, 2023! From 10 am to 2 pm, you can explore exciting indoor and outdoor activities such as an obstacle course from Cajun Slides, 2KB petting zoo, slime and STEAM stations, and many more activities from Parish Proud, Lafayette Ready Start, and Macaroni Kid Lafayette. Cold treats will be available for purchase from 7 Kids Ice Cream Truck, and Dip and Dabble will offer face painting.
You can buy tickets ahead of time for $5 per person or pay $10 at the gates. CMA members and children under twelve months get in for free. Discounts are not applicable for special events.
Our World: Worldwide Day of Play is part of Nickelodeon’s Our World global initiative to inspire kids and provide them with tools to activate their individual and collective agency. As part of a network of than 300 ACM member children’s museums who reach millions of families in North America and the more than 1,000 museums participating in Museums for All, a national access initiative that ACM manages, the Children’s Museum of Acadiana is a vital collaborator in the Our World: Worldwide Day of Play.
