Ring in the New Year Kid-Style! A 29-Year Acadiana Tradition
Celebrate the arrival of 2026 at the 29th Annual New Year’s Noon Carnival & Countdown, proudly presented by Cox. For nearly three decades, this beloved Children’s Museum of Acadiana tradition has given Acadiana families a joyful way to ring in the New Year kid-style with confetti, music, hands-on play, and a countdown that happens at NOON, not midnight.

What to Expect at New Year’s Noon
🎉 Double Confetti Blast: Experience indoor and outdoor confetti explosions during our signature countdown to noon.
🎵 Live Music by The Rouge Krewe: Enjoy high-energy music that keeps the celebration lively from start to finish.
🤹 The Amazing Bacon Stilt Walker: A CMA crowd favorite, towering entertainment and interactive fun for kids of all ages.
🎪 Aerial Silk Play with Sky Craft: Kids can safely explore aerial silks with the guidance of professional instructors.
🏰 Inflatables, Games & Prizes: Bounce, play, compete, and win throughout museum activity stations.
