Kick off the holiday season with one of Acadiana’s favorite family traditions! The Children’s Museum of Acadiana invites you to our annual Twinkle Light Night, presented by Carson Animal Hospital, for an evening filled with holiday cheer, hands-on creativity, and magical memories for the whole family.

This beloved event transforms the museum into a winter wonderland, glowing with lights, laughter, and festive fun. Families can meet Santa Claus, take photos with Olaf & Anna, and dance along to live Cajun music from The Huval Family Band featuring Chad Huval.

Inside and out, every corner of the museum will be filled with interactive stations and holiday activities that spark imagination and joy:

• Snow Play Zone – Scoop, mold, and play in snow-like textures!

• Stuffy Olympics – Bring your favorite stuffed animal to compete in bobsled races and hula hoop tosses.

• Shaving Cream Marbling Christmas Trees – Create colorful, one-of-a-kind holiday art.

• Cookie Decorating – Add icing, sprinkles, and creativity to your own sweet treat.

• Wooden Ornament Crafting – Personalize an ornament to hang at home.

• Jingle Bell Necklace Making – Design wearable art that jingles all night long.

• Snowball Launcher Building – Build and test your own mini launcher for holiday fun!

Additional fun includes Dip and Dabble face painting (available at an extra cost) and a special holiday tote bag for each child filled with treats and surprises.
